Anything above a 384K connection would be the base case scenario. Although the backup service could work with a connection smaller than 384K, we don’t recommend it. We suggest that you purchase the largest connection you can afford and/or find a flexible provider in your area that can offer a larger connection for a few days if you run into a situation where you need to execute a disaster recovery plan. This is regularly request for many Internet service providers, and many of them have this service in place. Be sure to ask your provider if something like this exists and if you can get an agreement in place. Simply put, the larger the connection, the faster your data is restored.
