Ultimate Software for Client and Server
Noverus client and server backup applications perform together to achieve the ultimate data protection solution.

Client Software
The Noverus Client Software is designed for the backup and restore of data from and to a computer. Users can create, schedule and run backup tasks. They can also restore data, which they backed up before.
The Client Software can fully automate the backup process, eliminating any human interventions and reducing cost of ownership. The Client Software comprises application plug-ins that make it very easy to backup Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Favourites and the Windows System State, on PC-level. Moreover, on Server-level, the VaultScape™ Client Software can make ‘hot backups’ of MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, and MySQL databases. The VaultScape™ Client Software is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux-platforms.
Secure data in 3 steps
The VaultScape™ Client Software allows you to make a backup of all critical data from a desktop, laptop or server in 3 simple steps.
Step 1 : Installation
You need to install the VaultScape™ Client Software on a PC, laptop or server. A Setup Wizard will guide you through the installation process that is quite simple and takes less than 5 minutes.
Step 2 : Configure backup
When the Client software is executed, the Backup Wizard is activated automatically. Step-by-step, this wizard will help you create a backup task. An extended task is created and scheduled in just a couple of minutes.
Step 3 : Sit back and relax
After the task is created, it will run through its schedule. During the first backup all data is encrypted, compressed and sent to the Backup Server. The next backups will be sub-sequential; all data is compared with the last version stored on the Backup Server. Only new or modified files are sent to the Backup Server, making the solution quick and secure. After completion of a backup, a report is sent by e-mail. You are always up-to-date on the status of your backups.
Microsoft Windows

The Noverus Client Software supports all Microsoft Windows platforms, which support the .Net Framework, such as Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and server versions like Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 (Small Business Server).
Linux

Noverus Client Software is available for most popular Linux versions, such as RedHat, SuSE and Debian (and Debian based systems such as Ubuntu), all with Java 1.5 or higher.

The Noverus Server Software is typically installed on a secure remote location (datacentre). The Noverus Server Software can connect with storage architectures as DAS, NAS or SAN. You can integrate the Noverus Server Software into your own network and infrastructure. This way, you can manage an own online backup service for your customers, branded as your own solution.
